Peng Jian, female, holds a doctorate. She is a professor at the second-level position of Huazhong Agricultural University, a doctoral supervisor, a position scientist of the National Pig Industry Technology System, the vice chairperson of the Trace Elements and Food Chain Branch of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Science, and a standing director of the Animal Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. Recipient of the Special Government Allowance of The State Council, and selected as a national-level candidate of the Ministry of Education's New Century "Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talents Project". Mainly engaged in research on molecular nutrition, nutritional regulation for the formation of important traits in livestock and poultry, precise nutrition and feeding of breeding pigs, and big data analysis and utilization in pig production. He/She has successively presided over more than 70 national and provincial-level scientific research projects. Two second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and 17 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards have been won. Four monographs have been published and seven books have been edited or co-edited. Obtained 12 international and national invention patents; Published more than 200 research papers.
