Yuchun Pan is a tenured professor at the College of Animal Science, Zhejiang University. He also serves as an advisor to the National Committee for Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources, a member of the Expert Committee of the National Swine Genetic Improvement Program of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the vice chairman of the Animal Genetics and Breeding Branch and the Pig Farming Branch of the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association. The main research directions are two: The first is statistical omics and design breeding; The second is functional omics and genetic resource science.
